The working process of the common rail system

Fuel supply: The fuel pump draws diesel from the fuel tank and pumps it to the high-pressure common rail at high pressure. The high-pressure common rail stores the high-pressure fuel to keep the fuel in a high-pressure state.
Fuel injection control: The ECU calculates the appropriate fuel quantity and injection timing based on the engine operating conditions monitored by sensors, such as engine speed, load, air temperature, etc., and then sends control signals to the fuel injectors.
Fuel injection process: After the fuel injector receives the control signal from the ECU, it opens the solenoid valve of the injector, and the high-pressure fuel is injected into the combustion chamber through the fuel injector at extremely high pressure. The fuel injection time and the amount of fuel injected are precisely controlled by the ECU according to the actual needs of the engine.
